Vision, mission and mandate

Vision
To form holy, convinced, committed, well-equipped and pastoral-oriented Catholic priests, as set out in the Uganda Episcopal Conference’s Seminary Charter.
Mission
To make the Seminary a school of the Gospel in order to have a holistic formation of Priests for the effective service in the Church.
Mandate
The mandate of Seminary formation springs from the general evangelizing mission of the Church given by Christ: “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
Matthew 28:19–20
